4in x 6in Culpeper Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International is proud to offer this high quality 4in x 6in Culpeper Flag with Staff and Spear. In Pennsylvania and the Southern Colonies the popular design was a rattlesnake, viewed not as a repulsive reptile but as a symbol of vigilance and deadly striking power. One of the earliest of these banners represented the minutemen of Culpeper County, Virginia, a hotbed of Colonial discontent. A coiled rattler occupied the center of a white field, while above and below were the unmistakable sentiments “Liberty of Death” and Don’t Tread on Me. The flag of the Culpeper is beautifully printed on silk-like material; these flags offer the highest quality in a mounted flag. They are carefully stitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. Flags come on a 3/16″x10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial.
