4in x 6in Bunker Hill Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International is proud to offer this high quality 4in x 6in Bunker Hill Flag with Staff and Spear. On the night of June 16, 1775, the Americans fortified Breed’s and Bunker Hills overlooking Boston Harbor. The next afternoon the British landed 2,400 men. Twice they advanced up the slope, only to be cut down by the well disciplined volleys of the colonial militiamen. The Americans, short of powder and shot, had to withdraw on the third assault, but not before they had felled almost half the British force. This early New England Flag has become a popular commemorative of that historic encounter. This 4″x6″ flag of the Bunker Hill is beautifully printed on silk-like material; these flags offer the highest quality in a mounted flag. They are carefully stitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. Flags come on a 3/16″x10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial.
