The Honor and Remember flag has been created to serve as a national symbol that specifically acknowledges the sacrifice of the men and women in the United States Armed Forces who have given their lives for their country in over two centuries of America’s history. The flag was developed by the Honor and Remember Organization. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the flag are given to the Honor and Remember Organization. The 3’x5′ Honor and Remember flag is made of nylon with a canvas heading, two brass grommets and a lock stitch sewn fly end.
The flag details represent the following:
Red Field represents the blood spilled by brave men and women in America’s military throughout our history, who gave their lives so that our nation would remain free.
White Field below the gold star recognizes the purity of sacrifice. there is no greater price an American can pay than to five his or her life in service to our country.
Blue Star represents the active service in the military conflict. This symbol originated with World War I, but on this flag it signifies service in all wars from the American Revolution to the present day.
Gold Star signifies the ultimate sacrifice of a warrior in active service who will not return home. Gold reflects the value of the life that was given.
Folded Flag signifies the final tribute to an individual life presented to the family for their significant loss.
The Flame is an eternal reminder of the spirit that has departed this life yet burns on in the memory of all who know and loved the fallen hero.
We will always Honor their selfless sacrifice and Remember them individually by name.
