Michigan Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International is proud to offer this Michigan Flag with Staff and Spear. Michigan’s third and current flag was adopted in 1911. It consists of the state seal on a blue field. In the seal, a moose and elk support a shield with a picture of man waving on the shores of Lake Michigan with a sun rising behind him. Inscriptions in Latin translate into “If you are seeking a pleasant peninsula, look around you, “I will defend,” and the most famous Latin quote in the United Pluribus Unum,” meaning “From one, many.” 4in x 6in flags come on a 3/16in x 10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial. 8in x 12in flags are carefully hemstitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. 8in x 12in flags come on a 1/4in x 18in black wood staff with gold blunt spear finial.
