Description
New Hampshire Flag
The New Hampshire flag consists of the state seal on a blue field. The state seal contains the Revolutionary warship Raleigh flying a historically accurate thirteen star U.S. flag in front of a brilliant yellow rising sun. The ship is on land in stocks, at the shipping building yard at Portsmouth. The year “1776,” appears below the Raleigh because it’s the year of the state’s independence. While alternating stars and laurel leave sprigs encircle the seal.
