Oklahoma Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International was proud to offer this Oklahoma Flag with Staff and Spear. The Oklahoma state flag was designed by Luise Fluke and Dr. Joseph Thoburn and adopted in 1925 for a Daughters of the American Revolution competition. The name of the state was added in 1941. The design consists of an Osage war shield crossed by an olive branch and a peace pipe on a light blue field. The blue was derived from the flag the Choctaw flew during the Civil War. 4in x 6in flags come on a 3/16in x 10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial. 8in x 12in flags are carefully hemstitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. 8in x 12in flags come on a 1/4in x 18in black wood staff with gold blunt spear finial.
