The Buddhist flag comes from a late 19th century design to symbolize and universally represent Buddhism. It is used by Buddhists throughout the world. The six vertical bands of the flag represent the six colors of the aura. An aura which Buddhists believe emanated from the body of the Buddha when he attained Enlightenment. The Buddhist Ceremonial Flag Set also comes with everything you need for a formal flag setup.
Each individually boxed mounting set comes complete with an oak finished pole with precision machined brass screw joints, a shiny gold plated Executive floor stand, a flag spreader, a shiny gold plated ABS styrene spear ornament, and a Buddhist flag. An optional gold cord and tassel are also available.
