Kansas Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International is proud to offer this Kansas Flag with Staff and Spear. The Kansas state flag shows the state seal, which shows a rising sun, and the 34 stars symbolize the states that were in the Union in 1861. The state seal shows a ploughman preparing the field for planting. The native wild sunflower resting on a twisted wreath of blue and gold shown on the blue field was adopted as the state flower in 1903. The state name was added in gold capital letters in 1963. 4in x 6in flags come on a 3/16in x 10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial. 8in x 12in flags are carefully hemstitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. 8in x 12in flags come on a 1/4in x 18in black wood staff with gold blunt spear finial.
