Vermont Flag with Staff and Spear
Flags International is proud to offer this Vermont Flag with Staff and Spear. The present Vermont flag was adopted in 1919 and consists of the state seal on a blue field. The seal depicts the picturesque Vermont landscape. A single pine tree stands before the Green Mountains with a cow and three wheat sheaves below in the shield. On either side of the shield are pine branches, a stag’s head above. The state name and motto, “Freedom and Unity”, are in a scroll below the shield. 4in x 6in flags come on a 3/16in x 10″ black plastic staff with gold spear tip finial. 8in x 12in flags are carefully hemstitched on all four sides for longer lasting beauty. 8in x 12in flags come on a 1/4in x 18in black wood staff with gold blunt spear finial.
